With practical international experience working abroad, Ian McGinniss is able to utilise his knowledge to assist clients entering into Australia or expanding overseas. His knowledge and experience includes interpretation of International Tax Treaties, structuring of entities, and managing tax outcomes in cross border transactions.  After working within Big 4 and 2nd tier firms in Australia, Canada, and the USA for much of his career, Ian returned home to the Gold Coast and joined Walsh Accountants in December 2015.  Qualified with a Master of Taxation (UNSW), Ian can assist you to understand the complex world of international tax and advise you on strategies to produce the best outcomes.
