My passion is growth. Seeing clients grow their business, seeing people grow their skills and mindset to overcome obstacles and solve challenges to achieve their goals – no matter what they are.
I lead a growing team of people who are more than accountants, they are thought leaders in business, taxation alternatives and accounting systems. We are constantly learning and challenging ourselves with new ideas, projects, and any opportunities that enable us to grow our mindset. This focus improves the value and impact we have on our clients and the growth of their businesses and financial outcomes.

Description of Role
Born and bred on the Gold Coast, Tom joined his father Graham Walsh in the practice in 1994. Established in 1974, Walsh Accountants is very proud to state that we are Gold Coast longest standing family-owned accounting firm.
As the Managing Director, Tom has led the strategic development of the firm growing from a small practice through to a thriving business with a team of over 30 people. A journey of many challenges and victories, Tom now shares his skills and knowledge with our clients to help them scale and grow their own businesses.
He is passionate about learning and reading and is well known for sharing his extensive knowledge on all areas of business and industry with those who can benefit from it, including clients, professional associates, and the Walsh team.
Tom embraces and supports the entrepreneurial spirit in his clients, assisting them to take their businesses to the next level.

Personal Interests
Leadership and learning – looking to continually evolve and be challenged. This is a past time of mine and to complement this, I am a member of several leadership organisations including YPO.
Boating – I am my most relaxed when I am somewhere out on the water.
AFL – I enjoy attending games and supporting the local Gold Coast Suns.
