One of our senior managers, Mark Wood-Collier, has recently taken networking to new heights. Mark was invited to participate in a novel networking event involving indoor sky diving.
The activity was also attended by other daring Gold Coast based professionals and executives and the group thoroughly enjoyed getting outside of their comfort zones.
Mark explains: “The training was brief, but it’s pretty easy to get the hang of the right body position with an instructor nearby to give you tips,” and he could draw from his scuba diving experience, where the in-water body position is similar.
Mark leads our Focus Advisory division and specialises in assisting business owners and entrepreneurs manage their performance and achieve their goals.
“It’s good to be uncomfortable, because when you’re outside of your comfort zone you’re challenging yourself to grow and learn from the experience,” said Mark.
The apparent wind speed in the chamber for Mark’s activity exceeded 180km/h, while the instructors regularly increase this up to 260km/h for their training.
