With female entrepreneurship growing at a rapid pace, Walsh is focused on supporting women in business on the Gold Coast and in South East Queensland by giving them the support and confidence to thrive and succeed.
When it comes to business ownership, we have recognised that women often have a different mindset, skillset, and different business strengths than their male counterparts.
With a strong team of female accountants and advisors, we are well equipped and dedicated to assist women in business in all aspects of their journey. We work with you to help you manage all facets of your business, help you to remove or manage stress points, and encourage you to understand and take control of your numbers to grow your business and to build your business community.

Since 2017, Walsh Accountants has been recognized nationally for our achievements through the Women in Finance Awards, including placing as a finalist in Employer of the Year, Small Business Advisor of the Year and Director of the Year.

Walsh Accountants have proudly sponsored the Gold Coast Women in Business Awards since 2016, donating approximately $40,000 annually in prizes.
To help support and encourage all of the women involved in the awards, not only do we gift services to the women in our award category, we also gift $1000 worth of accounting and advisory services to every woman who is recognized as an awardee of merit. This enables us to support all women recognized at the awards regardless of the stage they are at in their business.
We also actively recognize and encourage female entrepreneurship by nominating outstanding female business leaders. Since 2016 we have nominated a number of our amazing clients and referral partners for various categories, with two of these achieving finalist status, and after nominating our very own Rachael Keuning, she won The Futurist Award in 2017.
